It's a shocking version of the game. Very much unlike the original, and for some reason seems to have half the music from Bart vs the Space Mutants.
Great throwback! Strider on the NES is such an interesting adaptation—definitely not what people expect if they’ve only played the arcade version. I appreciate you highlighting its quirks and giving it a fair look instead of just writing it off. There’s a certain charm to how ambitious it tried to be despite the hardware limits.
